This area comprises of the northern face of the summit cone. It extends from the corner overlooking the Lion's Rump to the site of the old fire lookout on the corner overlooking Fresnaye.
All the climbs in this sector start on the same ledge as those from the Geo-Cache and White Face Sectors.
A well built up cave, surrounded by large aloes, aptly named Aloe Cave, is a distinguishable feature of this area.
You will be approaching the climbs from the right.
Follow the climbers path which leaves the Circular Route shortly after passing below the second para-glider launch site.
This path initially goes diagonally up and left to a low rock band.
Here the path goes straight up via a short ladder and then a short, B-grade open-book, before tending right up the slope to the old fire lookout on the corner.
For climbs that top out near the summit, it is easiest to follow the circular route back down.
Alternatively, you can abseil down.
Abseil point:
Just to the right of the corner overlooking Fresnaye, near the top of Bantry Crag is an abseil station near a large block on a platform ledge 5m below the top of the cliff.
This gains the lookout level in a single 60m abseil.
