50m left of the lookout site is a large square recess with a tree growing on a ledge halfway up the recess. This is the recess used by Lookout. About 4m to the right of the recess is another, smaller, right-angled recess. This is the start of Crescendo.

P1 - 20m, 5b: Climb the crack on the right of the recess to the recess to an overhang and traverse 2m left to a recess. Turn the overhang above via a crack above the right hand wall. Continue up to the ledge above.

P2 - 10m, 3-: Scramble across the ledge and then to the right along a narrower ledge/shelf to a shallow recess (beacon 2m right of the recess). Climb the shallow corner in the recess and continue up to a large ledge. The next pitch begins about 6m to the left.

P3 - 13m, 5c: Climb up for 9 or 10m to below a small triangular overhang. Traverse to the right on small handgrips and a rail to a small stance.

P4 - 18m, 6a: Climb up and then a metre to the right, passing an old piton. Climb through the overhang via the bottomless recess before moving up and right over juggy, white rock with immense exposure. Belay from a bushy ledge. Scrambling leads to the summit.
