This sector is better sheltered from wind. Some lines suffer from water seepage after rain.
In summer this is best climbed in the morning, in winter it is pleasant in the afternoon sun.
Scramble up the first original pitch of Staircase to gain a long ledge.
Descent: Either abseil back to Fountain Ledge or walk down Fountain Ravine/India Venster path to the base.
Walk around via the India Venter Trail, or abseil.
20m North (toward the Upper Cable Station) of the toilets is a steep gully facing West. Gain the gulley by stepping over the small wall and scrambling down the rock or through the small natural "tunnel".
Continue descending the gullyuntil faced with a small cliff (6m) on the right (looking at the ocean). The ledge below has ramp anchors on the far right (North). The ledge is easily accessed by moving left (toward the South / Appostles), then down and then right either through the tunnel or over the top.
Move North (toward the upper cable station) for c20m to the end of the ledge. Two Ring bolts are on your right at shoulder height.
