The Slipper is divided between two landowners; the MCSA who controls access to most of the bouldering and route climbing, and Falcon Rock who controls access to the Falcon Rock and Frog Rock crags along with some scattered forest bouldering.

The easiest accessed climbing on The Slipper is the Falcon Rock crag or boulders that lie at the base of the mountain on the MCSA land. The higher up the mountain you go, the more traddy it becomes aside from the Hidden Boulder sport crag and a handful of other routes amongst the some 300 trad lines.

To access the MCSA land one must be accompanied by an MCSA member, join a meet at Lady's Slipper or contact the Eastern Cape MCSA branch.

Most days on The Slipper are spent in full shade which means they can get very cold as it is affected by any wind being one of the highest features in the area.
