Catie Monteiro

Catie Monteiro is an outdoor photographer and content manager for Vertigo Gear. Following six years abroad, working as a journalist for NBC News, she returned home to Cape Town in 2020 to escape the grind, prioritise climbing and embrace a better lifestyle. In addition to her work with Vertigo, Catie runs South Africa’s first climbing YouTube channel F8 Bouldering.
