Key

The collection of crags/sectors around Sleeping Beauty Cave. The Sandstone formations are inviting and impressive. The ethic has been ground-up ascents with supplementary bolts placed on lead where traditional protection is lacking.

While these routes typically do have bolts, and some can be climbed almost as sport routes, a light rack is needed - read the route beta before. Do not expect perfect climbing, with perfect gear and perfect rock. it is often advisable to lower your grade range if this is your first time climbing in the 'Berg.

As a set of crags, this is some of the best into to Drakensberg Climbing as the approaches are easy, the route finding easy and the 'commitment' grade relatively low by Drakensberg Standards.

As mild as these sectors are by Drakensberg standards, pay attention to the route info to ensure you can retreat if needed or know the descent beta.
