Hellfire is the biggest crag in the Du Toitskloof region opened in 90's, boasting over 200 routes (160 or so trad and 50 or so sport). Many sectors to choose from and classic routes that are well worth climbing, grades are not soft. Grades range from 15-30, although most being between 18-23. Routes can vary in height from 15-55m in length. The Crag lives up to its name being in full sun and baking, the pit however has full day shade and is a cool spot to escape the heat.

Along the N1 after the tunnel go past the Du Kloof Lodge on your left. Shortly on your right make a U-turn onto the other side of the highway. There is a grassy patch after a barrier in front of the crag, behind that there is cairn that shows the start of the approach (up towards the electricity pylon).
