The Bester Crag is a collection of crags above the Rocklands Basecamp campsite, owned by Alex bester. The Bester Crag has provides a variety of routes from short to long or slabby to steep and an abundance of shade, making it perfect for a day out at the crag despite the Cederberg heat ! While access is free to residents of the campsite, permits for day visitors can be bought at the reception.

Approach
From the parking lot walk along the soft sand path and cross a slabby rock on you're left. Carry on up along the jeep track left and on the irght you will see a sign and first cairn. Follow the cairns up along the whole path (GAIA link will lead to Rooikat wall).
