This route starts on the left side of the ledge, up the obvious shallow recess, a couple of meters to the left of the undercut start to Teapot Wall.
1. 20m (6b): Climb the recess to the horizontal break and step to the right. Climb straight up the face above, heading for a short recess capped with an overhang. A belay can be taken in this cozy corner.
2. 40m (6c): Move out left from under the overhang and then climb diagonally leftwards across the wall until able to move up to an obvious short finger crack. This crack is visible from the ground. Climb the crack and exit into an almost holdless recess also capped by an overhang. Some strenuous moves left, and then directly up, lead to easier, juggy terrain. Now ascend the immaculate face above by trending diagonally rightwards until you reach a substantial ledge.
3. From here climb through the overhangs above and to the left, into the obvious recess virtually on the arête, or simply walk leftwards along the ledge to finish up Thread The Needle.
