Aspect and Weather
The routes in the gully go into shade late morning, everything else will have afternoon shade. The climbs are not well protected from rainy weather.
Climbing
Climbing here is mostly quite slabby with some routes being vert. The rock is very textured with some more unusual features along with a spattering of crack climbing.
Base
The base of the climbs in the gully is quite awkward and would probably only be good for one party as this gully also serves as the approach to other Mayhem crags. But there is ample base for the rest of the routes at the crag and what seems to be a lot of scope for more development of routes further down the crag.
Approach
Approach from Tranquilitas, walk passed the Maxi Tents keeping right at the fork. Follow the MTB trail that trends down toward the fence-line. There will be a small wooden ladder/step structure allowing you to climb over the fence. Head over the fence and keep left towards the cliff line. At the cliff there is a wooden deck, stay right walking along the cliff for about 300m until reaching a large gully. This is Jack's Playground.
