Higgovale Quarry is an old granite quarry that was once used as a shooting range, and that now has bolted, sport routes on the face that looks onto Table Mountain. The routes range from 4a/9 to 7c+/29, and are all somewhat technical and slab like in style except for one out of style diagonal crack.
The quarry is well sheltered from the wind and has ample space for many people at the foot of the walls. While there are 4 sides to the quarry, only one of them offers decent climbing with a short section of the Eastern wall also offering a route or two.
