Aspect and Weather

‍The crag gets morning shade and can be paired with Splinter area for a full day on quality granite.

Climbing

The climbing mostly follows prominent crags and dihedral features. Stem Gem is widely considered one of the best routes in the country.

Base

The base is shaded and mostly flat. Some belaying may need to be done from a ledge.

Approach

From the top parking, walk up the stairs and through the wave-like boulder cave. Follow a path through the bush and along the base of the Belly Button Slab and Splinter areas. Round the left corner and the end of Splinter area and you arrive at Blue Diamonds area.
