Access

Permits are required to climb here and can be obtained at capenature.co.za.

Aspect and Weather

This crag gets sun for most of the day, except early morning and late afternoon. Routes get wet when it rains.

Climbing

Some great single pitch routes can be found here. This sector is mainly used when time is limited to get in another pitch of climbing or when the weather prevents climbing in other areas. The routes are in an alcove and thus are fairly sheltered.

Base

The base is blocky but comfortable.

Approach

Walk up the Descent Gully for a few inutes, until just before the top. On your right you will see a chasm between the Short and Sweet Buttress and the Main assif. Walk up the chasm and exit via short scramble to a big ledge. The wall is on your right.
