From the Silvermine second gate, a relaxed walk to a stunning waterfall. The walk follows a clear wide path for about 1.5kms till the turn off on your right going down to the waterfall. It is a rocky path down and can be a little steep for some especially be cautious when wet. A refreshing spot to have lunch and a little rinse under the falls on a hot day. Water can be gushing in the winter seasons so be wary of the strong and rapid flow.
One could return to the main path from the waterfall and continue along various other little paths which would take you towards either Muizenberg, Kalk bay/Clovelly or Noordehoek, for a longer hike.
WARNING : Crime is prevalent in this area break ins and so forth. Do not hike alone and beware of parking on quiet days/times. The best times are generally early mornings for weekdays and weekends.
