Start: Starting from the Lily Pond moving left, there are three roofs: Can Can, Dynamite and One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. There are a few other aid pitches going through the roofs in this area. Some have old pegs.

1.  30m '19/A1': Move up underneath the low ceiling then left and up a corner on small holds to a cubby hole. Traverse 5m to the left to the tufts of grass. A few long, artificial reaches gain a narrow, horizontal crack running to the right underneath the ceiling. Aid along across the ceiling to the lip. A few moves of aid lead to a recess and a stance (shared with Africa Crag.)

2.     28m '14': Traverse left and up a delicate edge to the Upper Africa Ledge.

The 'Cuckoo's Nest Prow' is the stepped overhanging prow in the middle of Upper Africa Ledge. 4m left of the right-hand arete is a left facing corner with a crack leading into this.

3.    25m '19': Step up onto the large flake against the wall and climb up the crack to a ledge. Pull through the overhang and continue up the corner to stance at the level of the 'Flakes Traverse'. This is one of the best pitches on Africa Ledge!

4.     15m'26': Reach up above the lip for edges -just to the left of the arete. Move up to a prong (sling runner). Traverse left into the base of the crack. Follow this to two pegs (hanging belay). Moving right just below the belay is easier.
